Abstract
This review critically evaluates recent developments in flat plate heat exchanger (PHE) enhancement technologies, including microchannels, nanofluids, phase change materials, corrugated geometries, graphite plates, fouling mitigation techniques, and waste heat recovery systems. A systematic comparison of published studies is presented to identify key achievements, limitations, and future research opportunities.
