Traditional Methods Of Water Resource Monitoring And Assessment Often Suffer From Limitations In Spatial And Temporal Resolution, Particularly In Resource-constrained And Disaster-stricken Regions. This Paper Explores The Burgeoning Potential Of Crowd-sourced Data – Information Voluntarily Provided By The Public Through Various Digital Platforms – For Mapping, Analyzing, And Ultimately Mitigating Water-related Issues. We Discuss The Diverse Sources Of Crowd-sourced Data, Including Mobile Applications, Citizen Science Initiatives, And Highlight Their Unique Advantages In Capturing Real-time, Localized Information.
