Authorship Pattern And Degree Of Collaboration In Sars: A Scientometrics Study

Abstract

This Study Examines The Authorship Pattern And Degree Of Collaboration In SARS Research Literature. The Required Data Were Collected From The ScienceDirect Database For The Period 2016 To 2020. Different Scientometric Methods Were Used, Such As Authorship Pattern, Degree Of Collaboration, Collaboration Coefficient, And Dominance Factor. The Study Also Tested The Applicability Of Lotka’s Law.The Findings Show That Co-authored Research Papers Were More Common Than Single-authored Papers. The Study Also Found That Author Productivity Generally Follows Lotka’s Law. Overall, The Results Indicate A Strong Trend Toward Research Collaboration Among Authors In SARS Research.
