A SURVEY ON INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM BASED ON K-MEANS AND RBF KERNEL FUNCTION

In these days an increasing number of public and commercial services are used through the Internet, so that security of information becomes more important issue within the society records Intrusion Detection System (IDS) used against attacks for protected to the Computer networks. Feature choice strategies are explored. These are analyzed to see what effect they have on the accuracy of a simple SVM. Several filter and wrapper techniques are investigated. Hybrid methods which use combinations of filter and wrapper techniques are also investigated. Data mining method has been extensively carried out in the network intrusion detection device via extracting useful knowledge from massive wide variety of network data.
