Green building means the one which ensures optimum utilization of water and energy, conserves natural resources, generate less waste and provide healthier spaces for occupants as compared to conventional building. By providing green building and sustainability provisions in buildings, it is expected to reduce the energy and water consumption to less than half of the present consumption in conventional buildings and complete elimation of the construction and operational waste through recycling and reuse.
