Abstract

The value and non-value added process in a leather manufacturing process is differentiated. The batches per week attainable at each process / station is studied. The utilization rate at each process / station is calculated. The idle time at each process / station is calculated. Ergonomic assessment using RULA is done for unhairing operation.
