Abstract |
Stress is a dynamic condition in which an individual is confronted with an opportunity, a demand or resource related to what the individual desires and for which the outcome is perceived to be both uncertain and important. As teaching organizations become more complex, the potential for stress in teaching faculty member increases. The stressors which are responsible for inducing stress in terms of physiological, behavioral and psychological stress in teaching faculty members need to be analyzed and measured. The main objective of the present study was to study stress in Engineering College faculty members and its relationship to role stressors and job satisfaction. |
