Abstract

This paper provides a simple framework for understanding the balance of payments and its components. The major purpose of this paper is to analyse the trend of india’s position of its balance of payment and to state the reasons for such tend. The paper also discusses the significance of balance of payment statement. The section of the paper provides the challenges faced by the countries having balance of deficit problem.
