A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY TO ASSESS KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF SECOND YEAR NURSING STUDENTS REGARDING ORGAN DONATION STUDYING IN TERTIARY HOSPITAL OF METROPOLITAN CITY

This descriptive study is focused on the assessment of knowledge and attitude of second year nursing students regarding organ donation studying in tertiary hospital of metropolitan city where organ transplantation is carried out regularly. Second year who are posted in ICU, Operation Theater and Community are in good position to educate and encourage people for organ donation. To know their knowledge and attitude is important to assess before they part it to other. The study revealed that the knowledge and attitude was good but willingness was poor.
