Abstract

There is a problem faced by Larsen and Toubro (L & T) Ahmednagar .The tie bar or clamping rod which is used to lift the mold gets bend after frequent use, because it doesn’t have a proper design with respect to varying weight of mold. On the basis of weight of mold weight proper design of tie bar that is specific length (L), breadth (B), and width (W) is done for injection mold DCB50304/1A1. Analysis of newly design component is done using HYPERMESH software.
