PATTERN RECOGNITION IN GUJARATI CHARACTER DETECTION – A PRAGMATIC APPROACH

This paper presents the survey of work done on Gujarati characters recognition, success rate and limitations of it. Many researchers are working on different character recognition processes for Gujarati characters as well as numeric. They all have used different methods to recognize characters. We have listed some of them with their methods and results. So we can get idea about the current status of research work in this field, and one can decide their own way of research in the same field.
