The purpose of this survey to focus on extensive update of different analytical methods for determination of octreotide acetate which is used in the treatment of acromegaly and carcinoid tumor.It is somatostatin analogue and binds to the somatostatin receptor subtypes II and V, inhibiting GH secretion.
